『紡ぐ糸』は、ギタリスト：佐藤紀雄と筝曲家：木村麻耶によって、2014年に結成されたユニット。アンサンブル・ノマド指揮者としての佐藤の経歴が反映してか、選曲も相当にノマド風だ。まず、一柳慧≪タイムシークエンス≫の演奏に驚く。もともとピアノ曲のこの作品を、箏とギターで演奏とは驚いたが、想像を上回る出来で、これを可能とする技量がこのユニットの身上と判る。ブーレーズの≪レポン≫の素材をミニマル風に並べる今井作品、点描的で独特な味わいのある高橋作品、原曲が筝と十七絃の二重奏で、ギターが筝の影のように寄り添う近藤作品など、収録作品もバラエティ豊か。高橋、バスケス作品では木村は歌唱も、２種の撥弦楽器の音色の差異を捉えた録音の明晰さも特筆したい。評論家 石塚潤一

「tsuMGuito(紡ぐ糸)」は、ギタリストの佐藤紀雄と歌手兼箏奏者の木村麻耶によるデュオ。2014年にニンフェアール第10回公演「東洋と西洋の絃」を契機に結成された。東洋(箏)と西洋(ギター)の撥弦楽器ということだが、この異色のデュオは海外からも注目を集め、国内以外にもメキシコ、スペインで公演を行っている。本盤には彼らのために書かれた作品と佐藤紀雄がこのデュオのために手直しした作品が収められている。今井慎太郎、高橋悠治、一柳慧、近藤譲という作曲家名からも分かるように、収録作はいずれも前衛的で即興性の強いものであるが、エベルト・バスケスの〈イクノクイカトル〉などはロック的なグルーヴ感もあり格好良い。木村の歌唱も強力な武器となっている。難解ではあるが好きな人には堪えられないアルバムであろう。(中川)

紡ぐ糸
ギタリストの佐藤紀雄、歌と箏奏者の木村麻耶によるデュオ。2014年、ニンフェアール第10回公演「東洋と西洋の絃」(佐治敬三賞受賞公演)をきっかけに結成。 東京を拠点に活動。これまでに自主公演は6回開催し、同時に広島、名古屋、静岡など、各地のコンサートやレクチャーに出演。この異色の組み合わせによるコンサートは遠く海外からも注目を集め、 このデュオのために書かれた曲も多い。
2018年には初の海外公演となるメキシコ・ツアーを好評のうちに終え、2019年秋にはスペイン公演を行う。
音という形のない即興的な掛け合いを、これからも常に新鮮に紡いでいきたいと思っている。
tsuMGuito
A unique duo of guitarist Norio Sato and vocalist/koto-player Maya Kimura.
Nympheart’s 10th Regular Concert in 2014, titled “Strings of the East and the West” (which won the 14th Keizo Saji Prize) served as the starting point for the duo. Based in Tokyo, the duo has presented 6 self-produced concerts so far, and has also made appearances in Hiroshima, Nagoya and Shizuoka, in concerts as well as in lectures. The uniqueness of the duo has attracted attentions from abroad where many composers have submitted compositions to them.
Their first overseas tour to Mexico in 2018 was a great success, and another tour, to Spain, is scheduled in autumn 2019.
The duo is aspiring to be continuously “spinning” spontaneous, improvisatory musical conversation of sound which is without form.
【木村麻耶（きむらまや）】
1985年生まれ。北海道出身。3歳より橋本はるみ氏に師事。
桐朋学園芸術短期大学卒業。同、専攻科卒業、研究生修了。在学中に箏・十七絃箏・二十五絃箏を野坂惠子氏、滝田美智子氏に師事。
第17回賢順記念くるめ全国箏曲祭にて賢順賞(第1位)受賞等、幼少より数々のコンクールで優勝、入賞する。これまで北海道新聞社賞、釧路奨励教育長賞、平成24年度別海町文化奨励賞受賞し、リサイタルを開催。また第10回ニンフェアールに出演し、その公演が第14回佐治敬三賞受賞する。
現代音楽フェスティバルMaerzMusikより招請されベルリンにて演奏等、これまでチェコ、ハンガリー、ウラジオストク、メキシコ、中国等、国際公演やレクチャーも多数行う。財団法人での事業、児童館、学校にて公開講座、アウトリーチやコンサートも行う。また、様々な作曲家の委嘱初演も数多く行い箏の可能性を拡げている。
テレビ、NHK-FMラジオ「邦楽のひととき」等出演。CD録音も多数参加している。4plusメンバー。宮城会会員。生田流宮城社教師。埼玉県立久喜高等学校箏曲部講師。
Maya Kimura
Maya Kimura was born in Hokkaido in 1985. She studied under Harumi Hashimoto from the age of 3. After receiving an Associate Degree in Music from Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music, she finished the advanced course there and continued her studies as a special student. She studied under Keiko Nosaka and Michiko Takita at Toho Gakuen.
Since her childhood, she has received numerous prizes and awards including the first prize in Kenjun Kinen All Japan Koto Festival. She won the Hokkaido Shimbun Press Award, the Incentive Award from the Superintendent of Education, and the Betsukai-cho Cultural Award. In 2012, she held her first recital, and in the same year, she performed at the 10th Nympheart concert, where she received the 14th Keizo Saji Prize.She frequently performs abroad in such country as Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Mexico, China and more.
Also, she has commissioned works from various composers, and has given many world premiere performances.
As well as making appearances on TV and Radio, she has participated in many CD recordings.
She is a member of “koto₋4plus”, a teacher for the Miyagi Koto Association. Also, she currently directs students in the soukyoku club at Kuki High School in Saitama.

【佐藤紀雄（さとうのりお）】
1951年生まれ。田島秀三、小原安正に師事し1971年ギター・コンクール（現東京国際ギターコンクール）優勝。ギター演奏にとどまらず、指揮、コンサート企画なども行ない、クラシックギター作品を演奏するほか、同時代の国内外の作曲家による多くの作品を積極的に演奏、初演する。ギター演奏においては国内はもとより南北アメリカ、ヨーロッパ各地、中国、台湾、韓国、オーストラリアなど世界各地で演奏やマスタークラスを、また国内外のアンサンブルとも多くの共演を行う。
1997年にはアンサンブル・ノマドを結成し音楽監督をつとめ現在に至る。毎年３回開いている定期演奏会は明確なテーマを持った個性的なプログラムと質の高い演奏で内外の注目を集めている。アンサンブルはこれまでにオランダ、ベルギー、ベネズエラ、イギリス、フランス、メキシコ、中国、韓国などの音楽祭から招待され演奏してきた。1993年京都音楽賞（実践部門）、1994年中島健蔵賞、1996年朝日現代音楽賞を受賞。現在、演奏活動を行うと同時に、桐朋芸術短期大学、日本大学芸術学部ギター科、フェリス女学院大学音楽科などで後進の指導に当たっている。
Norio Sato, guitar
Born in 1951, Norio Sato studied guitar with Shuzo Tajima and Yasumasa Obara. He was the winner of 1971 Tokyo International Guitar Competition. He has since been active not only as guitarist but as conductor and concert producer, and in addition to performing classical guitar repertoire, he performs and gives world premieres of numerous contemporary works by Japanese and international composers. As guitarist, he has given concerts and masterclasses in Japan and abroad including North and South America, Europe, China, Taiwan, South Korea and Australia. He has also performed with many ensembles both within and outside Japan.
He formed Ensemble NOMAD in 1997 and has been its Music Director since. The ensemble gives three subscription concerts annually, which are acclaimed for their unique programming with specific themes and high-quality performance. The group has been invited from music festivals around the world, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Venezuela, U.K., France, Mexico, China and South Korea. He is the recipient of the Kyoto Prize (1993), Kenzo Nakajima Prize (1994), and Asahi Prize for Contemporary Music (1996). In addition to his performing career, he currently teaches at Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music, Nihon University College of Art and Ferris University.
